We started LumoraIQ to build the AI platform that frontier-cloud vendors can't ship: one that lives on your hardware, runs against your private data, and gives you a panel of named experts who disagree out loud.
Where it started
A pattern we kept seeing.
The strongest single AI on the market answers strategic questions with a thoughtful, balanced essay. It lists pros and cons of every option, mentions the relevant research, and politely declines to commit. The information is correct. The framing is generic.
Leadership decisions don't get made in balanced essays. They get made in friction, when reasonable people with different priors look at the same data and reach different conclusions, and then they argue. A panel of experts that disagree out loud is not a UX gimmick; it's the format the work actually takes.
The other half of the problem is the data path. Frontier-cloud vendors are asking customers to ship their CRM, their financial models, and their internal corpora to someone else's GPUs. For most of the businesses we talk to, that's a non-starter, and the legal review alone kills the project.
